BOTANICAL TRIPS

Peru is home to perhaps the world's greatest biodiversity, and half of the country is Amazon jungle. The Ucayali area (where we operate) of the Peruvian Amazon has greater geographical diversity then any other area of the whole Amazon River system in South America. So with the presence of so many ecological zones in the Peruvian Amazon is it any wonder that it is home to most of Peru's 50,000 known species of plants. How many undiscovered species exist is anyone's guess.

Arrangements can be made to handle groups of 2 to 6 individuals per trip . There are two local 'day trip' excursions and a three day trip into the Andean slopes of the Amazon basin at Aguaytia. All day trips include guide, lunch, and transportation.
